Zuzana Žabková studied at Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Bratislava, Departments of Intermedia and Multimedia and at Academy of Performing Arts, Bratislava, Dance Choreography Department. As a result of her mixed studies, she tends to incorporate elements of contemporary performance art into her films. Her experimental dance films compound the features of the avant-garde imagist films with the attributes of the Eastern-Central-European concept art. They investigate the act of deconstruction and reconstruction; and analyze the situations of alienation and connection.
